In Sicily the rhythms are still dictated from the nature and in this site he/she is wanted to deepen the beauty of some places where the sea has the color of the sapphire and the stone, with its curved lines - masks and children, take form in the expression of the Baroque Sicilian.....and the wind becomes music!!!

From June of 2002, to Budapest during the jobs of the 26° session of the International Scientific Committee, the recognition of the UNESCO of the area of the happens "Val of Noto" in her "List of the patrimony of the humanity' ".
The communes of the Val of Noto inserted in the list they are eight: Noto, Palazzolo Acreide, Scicli, Moderate, Ragusa, Militello Val in Catania, Caltagirone, Catania.
Here are the four motivations that have brought to the insertion of the Val of Noto among the most important sites of the world:
* I am an exceptional testimony of the art and the Baroque slow architetturadel;
* they represent the peak and the last flowering of the Baroque European;
* the quality of this patrimony is also jumped by the homogeneity, caused by the contemporary reconstruction of the cities;
* the eight cities are in permanent risk because of the earthquakes and of the eruptions of the Etna.
