The Isole Ciclopi Protected Marine Area takes in most  of the territory of Acicastello and a small part of that of Acireale, in an enchanting natural stage surmounted by the majestic profile of Etna. Set up in 1989 and governed by the ministerial decree of the 24th Nov. 2004 the reserve has a surface area of 623 hectares and goes from Punta Aguzza to Capo Molini.
